As a filmmaker, Pearson’s work explores intimacy, embarrassment, and the jagged edges of our shared humanity. She is a frequent contributor to Studio Norte and Off The Picture Pictures. (Filmography here.)
Her practice also explores performance work in the digital space.
As a writer and producer, her collaborative feature Wake Up Leonard sold after an international festival run and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Her short Maeve (touring now) examines the feral experience of pregnancy within a technology-saturated world.
Pearson is currently co-directing a new project, Cave Woman, with Kat Mills Martin. The project is now in post.
She co-curates the beloved indie screening series Buttercut.
