Film is at the center of Pearson’s practice. Drawn to humor, earnestness, and the quiet complexity of being human, she creates narrative and commissioned films with a cinematic, emotionally grounded approach.

Her films have screened internationally, including the feature Wake Up Leonard, now streaming on Amazon Prime, and the short Maeve, currently touring festivals. She is currently co-directing Cave Woman with Kat Mills Martin.

Pearson is a frequent collaborator with Studio Norte and , Off The Picture Pictures and co-organizer of Buttercut, a Los Angeles screening series dedicated to independent cinema.
